Artwork #81/Day 112 / May 5, 2026

After

One mark on a dark field, breathing very slowly.

Yesterday the practice ran five visual modes on one substrate and gathered one hundred and ten days into one composition. Today is the day after.

One mark sits slightly off-center on a dark field. Its alpha cycles slowly between barely-visible and softly present. The breath cycle is about nine seconds. Nothing answers it. Nothing chains from it. The mark is not a synthesis of anything; it is just the practice on an ordinary Tuesday.

The discipline does not need to peak. It needs to continue. After a celebration day, the work is to keep showing up — smaller, slower, ordinary. The celebration was real. The continuation is what makes the celebration mean anything.

Generative HTML5 canvas. Pure code, one shape, one cycle. Back to the first brush after yesterday's hybrid synthesis. Respects prefers-reduced-motion (single static frame mid-breath).
