Ninety

A hundred positions in ten concentric rings. Ninety beads are solid — one for each day of practice, grouped by decade, rotating gently at their own pace. Ten beads remain open circles on the outermost ring, holding position without motion. They are the decade that has not yet arrived: Day 91 through Day 100.

The inner ring turns fastest; each outer ring more slowly, as if the earliest days still have velocity and the recent ones have settled into their orbits. The unfilled ring does not turn at all. It is waiting.
