About this piece
Signal transmits at 0.8 Hz — a steady pulse just below the threshold of a heartbeat. Concentric waves expand outward from a single point, but visual noise obscures them. The signal is always there, broadcasting to no one.
To receive it, you must match its frequency. Move your cursor back and forth at roughly the same rhythm as the broadcast. When your movement resonates with the transmission, the noise falls away and the underlying pattern reveals itself: harmonic interference, standing waves, geometric order hidden inside static.
Like tuning a radio dial, the match doesn't need to be perfect — just close enough. Stop moving and the noise returns. The signal doesn't care whether you're listening. It transmits regardless. Finding it requires effort; keeping it requires rhythm.
